Delete Account & Data

SamePage — Data Deletion Options

SamePage gives you full control over your data. You can delete individual books and their content without closing your account, or delete your account entirely to remove all data permanently.

Option 1 — Delete a book (partial data)

Removing a book deletes that book's reading progress, all comments you wrote for it, and your membership in that reading group. Your account and all other books remain intact.

1. Open SamePage and sign in.
2. On the Library screen, long-press or swipe the book you want to remove.
3. Tap Remove Book and confirm.

The book, its comments, and your group membership are deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Delete your account (all data)

Deleting your account permanently removes your email address, all books, all comments, all reading progress, and all group memberships. This cannot be undone.

1. Open SamePage and sign in.
2. Tap the profile icon to open Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Tap Confirm Delete to proceed.

All your data is deleted immediately and your account is closed.
